It has been confirmed that Japan Superstar Antonio Inoki will be inducted into the WWE hall of fame. Some of the modern fans may not remember him but he is truly one of wrestling’s greats. He is remembered most for the controversial title change with Bob Backlund. While his WWE title run was never recognized in the books, most knowledgeable fans know that he was indeed the champ.
Through out his long career he has wrestled for JWA, TPW, NWA and NJPW. He is a multi time heavyweight champ and is considered by many the Hulk Hogan of Japan. He changed the foundation for Japan wrestling and he is certainly worthy of being in the HOF.
