Is Vince on another raid?
I reported a few months ago that Vince McMahon was scouting Jay & Mark Briscoe; wel,l it would appear my sources were correct. It is being reported that the Briscoes have indeed tried out for the WWE.
Last week during a Smackdown taping they had a tryout with the blessings of ROH. Currently the Briscoe’s are under contract. So if the WWE were to make a move for them, I would assume they would have to either wait or buy out their contracts.
It is also worth mentioning that Becky Bayless, who has also worked ROH in the past, also received a tryout during that Smackdown taping. There has been no word one way or the other if she was offered any kind of contract.
Jericho responds to Mr. Lobo’s challenge
As most of you know by now, Chris Jericho recently got himself in a bit of hot water over some comments at a horror festival in Sacramento. While he was drunk, he made a couple comments regarding Mr. Lobo’s sexuality and race.
In response to these actions, Mr. Lobo decided to go on rant, and then challenge Chris Jericho to a thumb-wrestling match. In a recent interview with express he responded to Mr. Lobo’s challenge.
“It’s frustrating, I guess it’s just the world we live in nowadays, so you have to be careful with what you say because nobody has a sense of humor or really understands when you’re just shooting the breeze with your friends. So, I got my slap on the wrist, and I’m very, very, very, very sorry to anybody who was offended.”
Superstar Billy Graham blasts Linda McMahon
According to an article in the Hartford Courant, Former WWE champion Superstar Billy Graham said that Linda was deeply involved with the company, and was very well aware of the steroid use in the company.
He also called her a hypocrite amongst other things. The WWE responded to the comments by calling Billy Graham a bitter wrestler. It makes you wonder how Linda will be able to overcome her past in the WWE.
I personally am pulling for her to win this race. She has some solid stances that I agree with, and I think it is wrong that people to use her past in wrestling against her. I think we all knew that this was going to happen though.
Lesnar is out of the Hospital
Brock Lesnar has recently been released from the hospital. He has yet to make any comments on whether he will return back to the Octagon. Either way, I wish him the best of luck, and a speedy recovery.
